Today’s paper was one of the most boring for a long time. I have never understood the ‘honours’. Services to Sport….? People being honoured to do their job in some cases. Weird. That aside, the reason for this post is to say:

Tomorrow night on Cue TV. Maybe they can tell us who will be running the city while every man and his dog are on the ratepayer funded jaunt?

Has the Chinese junket sailed?
Not that I know of, they were clever enough to only say ‘next month’ (meaning June). But they now have the mayor, deputy mayor, ex deputy mayor and CEO planning to go…..what if there was a plane crash….we would have no leaders…oh what shall we do!!!
Oh hold it….and Lindsay Thomas…? Why?
Two things,
1. The guy from Hawkes Bay who rang to tell them how much he loved Dunedin was hilarious,
2. Did the guy from Auckland moaning about Len Brown use the F word at one stage?
As always, something came up while it was on so I haven’t heard it..(it was on but…) have it recorded though so will have to have a listen. lol
