Waihopai Airport #2

16 Dec

The article regarding the iwi becoming a shareholder in the airport said:

The Crown’s shareholding in the company was subject to a Deed of Grant of Right of First Refusal held by Te Rūnanga O Ngāi Tahu which outlined a process to be followed in the event of the Crown deciding to sell its shares.

I wonder what that process is?  The Deed of Grant would be an interesting read because I am surprised to see individuals names as shareholders on the airport, including three from Bluff.  How does that work?

Got something to say?
