I nearly forgot to mention the 125th Jubilee of the Bluff Volunteer Fire Brigade brings many visitors to Bluff this weekend and has a display and parade on Saturday

125th Jubilee
The big weekend has arrived after months of planning.
We kick off tonight with registration and social evening at the station.
Saturday we have photos at the station followed at 11.30 by a Kitchen Fire Display opposite the Eagle Hotel. This is a real eye opener of what can happen with a pan of oil left alone. At 1.30 there is a parade down the main street of fire trucks, old and new. A high line rescue will take place off the bitumen tanks after the parade. Come along and have a look.
The official function will take place at the town hall saturday night, followed by a church parade and B.B.Q sunday. Welcome to all you Bluffies returning for the weekend.
