“invercargill city charitable” “statement of intent”

20 Jan

Someone just came to my blog by typing “invercargill city charitable” “statement of intent”

The trust is a Council Controlled Organisation but have an exemption (check out the cover page of Annual Plan under CCO’s) under the Local Government Act and therefore do not need to file a Statement of Intent.

We the peasants therefore have no way of knowing their intentions or whether they achieved what they intended too.

Cracker has raised the Invercargill City Charitable Trust

From the trust’s latest financial report (my thoughts in red)

A quick add up

Audit Fees             $      1,605
Bank Fees               $         100
Reimbursement  $   12,009
Grant (handout)  $150,000

$ 163,714 wasted ratepayer money that they acknowledge is NOT the purpose of Council.  Yeah, thanks for that!
